AR235 Abrasion Resistant Steel Plate
Abrasion resistant plates are medium carbon steel components. The Ar235 Plate is a versatile grade that is designed to resist wear in the systems. Designed to provide good stability they have good tolerance to tear and wear compared to standard carbon steel components.
AR235 steel plate is a carbon-manganese steel product with a nominal hardness of 235 Brinell (HBW). It is intended for moderate wear applications. AR235 is available as mill plate, temper leveled plate or as coils. AR235 is not intended for structural applications.
The robust ar235 steel has enhanced toughness and has a Brinell hardness of a minimum of 200-250HB. The steel components have moderate strength and can be widely seen in structural grade applications.
