ASTM A240 321 Stainless Steel Plate is a high-performance austenitic stainless steel sheet designed to offer exceptional corrosion resistance in various corrosive environments. As a member of the 300 series stainless steel family, ASTM A240 321 steel offers excellent resistance to a wide range of chemicals, acids, and atmospheric conditions. This steel plate is composed primarily of iron, with the key alloying elements being chromium and nickel,also added with titanium to enhance high temperature resistance.
The inclusion of titanium in alloy 321 stainless steel provides excellent stability against intergranular corrosion, particularly during exposure to elevated temperatures, makes 321ss sheet well-suited for applications in industries need both corrosion resistance and heat resistance,such as chemical processing, aerospace, and automotive,ect.
