316L stainless steel, also known as marine grade stainless steel, is used primarily for its increased resistance to corrosion.316L stainless steel is a low-carbon chromium-nickelmolybdenum austenitic stainless steel that has better bending and welding properties than other stainless steels.

Prized for its excellent corrosion resistance, strength and heat resistance,SS316L material is extremely corrosion-resistant and can be used in chemical, petroleum and marine applications. Its heat resistance is also very good and can be used for manufacturing in high temperature environments.
