2205 duplex steel is a ferritic austenitic duplex stainless steel with a nitrogen addition.2205 duplex steel is a duplex stainless steel composed of 21% chromium, 2.5% molybdenum and 4.5% nickel-nitrogen alloy,is the most widely used duplex stainless steel grade, characterized by high yield strength, which is double that of standard austenitic stainless steel grades.
