S690QL material is a grade of high-strength low-alloy structural steel produced compliance with European standard EN 10025-6.S690QL steel plate is quenched and tempered to provide exceptional strength in different structural steel applications.
S690QL is a special low-alloy high-strength structural steel used in buildings, bridges, ships, vehicles, pressure vessels and other structures. The carbon content (melting analysis) is generally not more than 0.20%, and the total alloying element content is generally not greater than 2.5%. The minimum yield strength is 690MPa, and it has good impact toughness and welding properties.

S690QL Material Specification
S = Structural Steel
690 = minimum yield strength (MPa)
Q = Quenching & Tempering
L = Low notch toughness testing temperature
S690QL Steel Feature
- High strength: S690QL material has high yield and tensile strength, which is higher than ordinary carbon steel, can withstand greater loads in engineering structures.
- Excellent toughness:In addition, S690QL steel also has good toughness and ductility, even under low temperature or high stress conditions,it can maintain its toughness.
- Good welding properties: S690QL material has good welding performance, can be processed by conventional welding methods, and the welded connection has high strength.
