Pre Galvanized is a continuous galvanizing process in the first stage of steel production,the steel is galvanized before forming or cutting. The zinc layer is thin, and the coating thickness of the sheet is usually about 20μm, with a minimum of 15g/m2 and a general maximum of about 100g/m2. The cut edge may not have a coating. The thin alloy layer reduces abrasion resistance and is therefore suitable for small parts, roofing, guttering, furniture, household appliances, etc.
Pre Galvanized Sheet is low-cost and easy to form, suitable for environments with low anti-corrosion protection required. Hot-dip galvanized steel forms a thick zinc layer by immersing the steel in a molten zinc pool, providing stronger anti-corrosion protection and suitable for harsh environments.
