Galvanized steel coil refers to the product of ordinary carbon steel after hot-dip galvanizing or electro-galvanizing, prevents corrosion by coating the surface of the steel coil with a layer of zinc, also known as galvanized iron or GI. It forms a metallurgical bonding layer with the steel substrate,providing a protective zinc coating by immersing the cold rolled steel strip in a molten zinc bath.This galvanized layer improves the corrosion resistance of the steel coil, and also retains the strength and mechanical properties of the steel.

Galvanized coil is produced using a continuous hot-dip galvanizing process, which involves using the cold-rolled or hot-rolled steel strip as a substrate and immersing it in a molten zinc bath at high temperature to cause the zinc to diffuse with the steel to form an iron-zinc alloy bonding layer. This coating enhances the corrosion and weather resistance and also improves its structural strength and service life.Galvanized steel coils are a vital component in various industries due to their exceptional corrosion resistance and durability.

The base material is cold rolled steel,GI coil has good processing performance. The galvanized sheet coated with a zinc layer,features a smooth, flat,uniform thickness, strong adhesion, no peeling during processing, good corrosion resistance,and excellent adhesion to paint film. It can withstand high temperatures up to 315 ℃ and has excellent surface conductivity. The surface is smooth and clean, the size is accurate, the board surface is straight, the spangles are even and beautiful.
