The NM400 steel has quite high mechanical strength; Its mechanical properties are 3 times to 5 times that of ordinary low alloy steel plates.NM400 steel plate also has a very high hardness, usually around HBW (Brinnell Hardness) 400, which makes it better able to resist wear and scratches.
