The AR400 are premium high-strength and high-hardness abrasion resistant steel plates that are heat-treated and exhibit through-hardening with improved forming and welding capabilities,widely used in mining, construction and equipment manufacturing.
AR400 steel plates are usually made of low-alloy steel to which some alloying elements (such as chromium and nickel) are added to improve its hardness and wear resistance. AR400 wear plate undergoes heat treatment and a controlled cooling process to ensure it has uniform hardness and excellent wear resistance.
