Stainless Steel 430 Plate is a grade of ferritic stainless steel widely used in various industrial and civil fields due to its good corrosion resistance and formability.Compared with other gardes of stainless steel, 430 stainless steel can provide excellent oxidation resistance in multiple environments due to its high chromium content (usually 16-18%).Different from austenitic stainless steel (such as 304 stainless steel), 430 stainless steel is magnetic, therefore has unique advantages in some special applications, such as electromagnetic equipment and specific mechanical devices.

430 stainless steel has high corrosion resistance to a variety of atmospheres and chemicals, especially oxidizing acids. It can withstand temperatures up to 815°C (1500°F) in continuous service and up to 870°C (1600°F) in intermittent service, but it should be noted that it becomes brittle and loses ductility below 475° (885°F)
