Stainless Steel 310, a highly versatile and corrosion-resistant alloy, known for its exceptional performance in many harsh applications. Composed primarily of iron, chromium, and nickel,while the high chromium and nickel content provide solid corrosion resistance, excellent resistance to oxidation, and superior strength in temperatures up to 2100°F.
Alloy 310 is also highly resistant to sulfidation and can withstand high thermal shocks. It has a maximum operating temperature of 2010°F (1100°C) under cyclic conditions. The high carbon content of the alloy also ensures good resistance to carburization.
