Description

304 stainless steel is an austenitic alloy that contains between 18-20% chromium and 8-10.5% nickel,304 steel also contains small amounts of carbon and manganese, with the remainder of the alloy made up of iron. The combination of these elements results in a material that is highly corrosion-resistant and can withstand high temperatures without losing its structural integrity.

304 plates have superior resistant to corrosion from both chemical and environmental factors,due to the high content chromium and nickel,especially in acidic and chloride-containing environments. It is also highly resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion,making 304 steel plate ideal for use in a variety of applications, from industrial machinery to food-processing equipment.
