304 plate is a popular material in various industries due to its excellent corrosion resistance and good intergranular corrosion resistance. It is commonly known as 18/8 stainless steel and has a density of 7.93 g/cm3. SUS304 plate contains more than 18% chromium and 8% nickel, which gives it excellent corrosion resistance and formability. 304 stainless steel plate has excellent corrosion resistance and better resistance to intergranular corrosion. For oxidizing acids, it still has strong corrosion resistance in nitric acid below the boiling temperature of ≤65%. It also has good corrosion resistance to alkaline solutions and most organic and inorganic acids.
