Description

A240 Grade 304 is a universal stainless steel material, also known as SUS 304 stainless steel, the main components are 18% chromium and 8% nickel. It has excellent corrosion resistance, especially in atmospheric and freshwater environments; and good resistance to intergranular corrosion.

The addition of chromium and nickel in 304 steel creates a protective layer on its surface that helps prevent rust and other forms of corrosion.304 SS Plate also has strong anti-rust properties and has strong corrosion resistance to oxidizing acids in nitric acid below the boiling temperature with a concentration of ≤65%. At the same time, it is also resistant to alkali solutions and most organic and inorganic acids and has good corrosion resistance.
