Description

304L stainless steel plate is a common stainless steel plate and belongs to the 300 series austenitic stainless steel.304L is a low-carbon version of 304, with the carbon content controlled below 0.03%. Due to its low carbon content, it is more suitable for use in welding environments, reducing the risk of intergranular corrosion.

Features of 304L Stainless Steel Sheet

Corrosion resistance: 304L stainless steel plate has excellent corrosion resistance, especially against general atmospheric environments and mildly corrosive media.

Low carbon content: Compared with ordinary 304 stainless steel, 304L has a lower carbon content. This low carbon content helps reduce the formation of carbides during welding, reducing the risk of intergranular corrosion.

High temperature performance: 304L stainless steel plate still maintains good corrosion resistance in high temperature environments and is suitable for high temperature processes and applications.

Ease of processing: Due to its austenitic structure, 304L stainless steel plate has good processing properties, is easy to cold and hot processing, and can be used in various forming processes.
