Stainless Steel Plate generally refers to a collective term for stainless steel plate and acid-resistant steel plate.Stainless steel plate refers to steel plate that is resistant to corrosion by weak media such as atmosphere, steam and water,while acid-resistant steel plate refers to steel plate that is resistant to corrosion by chemically corrosive media such as acid, alkali and salt.The surface of stainless steel plate is smooth, with high plasticity, toughness and mechanical strength, and is resistant to corrosion by acid, alkaline gas, solution and other media. It is an alloy steel that is not easy to rust,but it is not absolutely not rusty.
The corrosion resistance of stainless steel mainly depends on its alloy composition (chromium, nickel, titanium, silicon, aluminum, manganese, etc.) and internal structure.Stainless steel plates are divided into hot rolled ss plate and cold rolled stainless plate according to the manufacturing method,and are divided into 5 categories according to the structure state of the steel type: austenitic, austenitic-ferritic, ferritic, martensitic and precipitation hardening.
