316 stainless steel is a standard molybdenum-bearing grade, second in importance to 304 amongst the austenitic stainless steels.Grade 316 contains a higher percentage of nickel and lower percentage of carbon compared to TP304 Stainless Steel, making it more resistant to corrosion and scaling.
