Grade SS 304 is an austenitic chromium alloy which is also known as an "18/8" stainless steel,which contains 18% chromium and 8% nickel,gives 304 stainless steel excellent corrosion resistance, especially good corrosion resistance to general corrosive media such as acids, alkalis, salts, etc.
