S960QL is a quenched and tempered, high-strength fine-grained structural steel. The minimum yield strength in the quenched and tempered delivery state is 960Mpa (ksi) (for the lower thickness range). Its mechanical properties are obtained by water quenching and tempering.
S960QL steel is suitable for manufacturing mechanical structures, equipment structures and welded structural parts in steel structures, such as construction machinery, conveying equipment, elevators, cranes, water conservancy gates, bridges and steel frame structures.
S represents structural steel, Q represents delivery conditions in Quenching & Tempering,960 represents the minimum yield strength value of 960MPa.
