S890QL1 is a low alloy high-strength water quenched and tempered, fine grained structural steel, with good welding properties,mainly used in construction in the fields requiring carbon steel plates with kinds of impact tests and strength.
S890QL1 steel plate has very high yield strength and tensile strength, has a higher strength level than general structural steel, and can meet engineering projects with strict requirements on material strength.

890 =minimum yield strength of 890Mpa,

Q= quenched and tempered.

S890QL1 steel could be through the -60 temperature impact and the energy is 30J, which could be used in lower temperature environment.
