JBLSTEEL Stainless Steel Flat Bar Size Measurement and Inspection
This month, we completed the production of 10 tons of stainless steel flat bars for an Indonesian customer. To ensure high quality, stainless steel bars were selected for dimensional measurements and composition tests were carried out before packing and shipping.
The stainless steel flat bars are all produced and laid out in our factory, and we tested length with a tape measure,also measured the thickness,to ensure meet customer's requirements.
The Indonesian client requested that the stainless steel flat bar be produced from 304 stainless steel, a widely used austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel containing at least 18% chromium and 8% nickel.
Spectrometer instrument testing showed that the stainless steel flat bar had a Cr content of 18.387 and a Ni content of 8.25, which met the 304 stainless steel standard.
